For better experience I recommend to use these parameters for command line: -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -novid -w 1024 -h 768 -refresh 144 +exec autoexec.cfg -threads 4

You can set any resolution you want by changing -w (width) and -h (height) attributes
Also, if you don't have a 144 Hz monitor, you can modify the value of -refresh attribute according to your monitor's refresh rate.
